How to understand arguments better –
and develop better arguments

Arguments are central to our lives as human beings because we need to establish accurate models of reality in order to get the results that we want.
However we’re often not very good at reasoning and argument. This is partly because thinking is hard work — and partly because the existing models we use for reasoning are often ineffective.
The purpose of this website is to look at new ways of thinking about reasoning and argument.
To start off with, I’ve developed a new model, the argument claim hexagon model, for analysing existing arguments and developing new ones.
